The Academic Resource Center offers tutoring to all UGA students. We provide tutoring by appointment, drop-in tutoring, test reviews, and online tutoring. For student convenience, tutoring is available in Milledge Hall, the Miller Learning Center (MLC), Aderhold Hall, the Boyd Science Library, Brumby Hall, Creswell Hall, and the Russell Academic Center

Fall 2014 Tutoring By Appointment

Fall tutoring begins on Monday, August 25 and ends on Tuesday, December 9.

Appointments will be available between 9 AM and 8 PM in Milledge Hall as well as the
Miller Learning Center (MLC), so please be aware of the location when booking appointments.

Please note that online appointments are only available for select writing center appointments. To determine whether an appointment is hosted online or in person, hover your cursor over the appointment time or click the appointment to view details before booking.

Students are permitted to schedule up to two appointments per subject, per week.

To schedule an appointment:

  • Click to access our TutorTrac online scheduling system
    through UGA’s Central Authentication System
  • Log in with your UGA MyID and password
  • You will be directed to the main page of the TutorTrac scheduling system
  • Click “Search Availability” under Student Options.
  • Select your center from the drop-down menu. (For peer tutoring appointments, select Peer Tutoring Program.)
  • Select your section. (section=course  EX: MATH 1113)
  • Click Search.
  • Select an appointment by clicking on it.
  • Click Save.
  • You may return to the welcome screen by clicking Main Menu (in the upper left side of the page) to see all successfully booked appointments.

You will receive an appointment confirmation email after your appointment has been booked. If you don’t receive an email or if you run into any trouble making an appointment, please email tutor@uga.edu or call (706) 542-7575. Fall 2014 Online Tutoring for Math and Statistics

Online Math/Statistics

Online Math tutoring is available to students from 10:00pm to midnight Sunday-Thursday.

UGA students can chat live with a math tutor by logging into our TutorTrac system with UGA MyID and password through a unique link to UGA’s Central Authentication Service. After logging in, select the appropriate Whiteboard group (listed on the right side of the main page) to connect with tutors for MATH 1101, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics. Online math tutoring is offered 10 pm-midnight during the Fall and Spring semesters and 8 pm-10 pm during the summer semester.
